Jeff Jacobs, CPhT, Director of Pharmacy & Clinical Services

A native Texan born in Abilene and raised on a farm/ranch south of Merkel, My 17+ year career in pharmacy began the day after high school graduation, when I took on a job as a technician. Since then, I have worked at several pharmacies across the state of Texas, doing everything from compounding to marketing. I joined APRx in July of 2016 following a stint as a Pharmacy Analyst for Freedom Data Services Inc. (FDS). I’m extremely passionate about helping independents achieve success. I truly appreciate the opportunity to be a part of the APRx team, and I consider it an honor to work alongside such tireless advocates for our shareholders and independent pharmacy as a whole.

College Experience Tidbit: I have a BFA in Film & Video from UT Arlington, and once was an aspiring animator.

What I do for fun: I am a family man, so I love spending time with my wife Kimberly and our three children. I’m also a big fan of Dallas Cowboys and Texas A&M football.
